FAQs
What are your rates?
My minimum hourly rate for a basic level of service is around $40. Services that require more nuanced, extensive experience range from $90-150. However, I prioritize relationships and people to the greatest extent possible, and am flexible based on need. I am also open to skill and resource trades wherever possible. Rates will always be negotiated ahead of time; no surprise increases.
What is your goal for your clients?
My goal for each client is simply to help them feel more connected to and comfortable with themselves and other people. I want to increase the number of people with whom they can share resources as well as their joy and problems. I want my paid services to become obsolete to all my clients as quickly as possible; that’s my dream for community exchange.
what does a session with you look like?
It’s entirely up to you. Our first session (after an intro meeting) will be an analysis session—an in-person, video chat, or phone meeting of usually two hours. We will determine where your community barriers are, what need(s) of yours I can most immediately meet to ease pressure around them, and what rate is within your budget to pay. Whether you need someone to come take care of the kids for an afternoon to give you space to think, help you apply to jobs, organize that spare closet that’s been at the back of your mind, find an event that piques your interest and attend with you as an outgoing social buffer, introduce you to other clients (with mutual consent), I can likely do whatever you can think of. We’ll build our relationship naturally from there, and as I get to know you better, we can establish what rate feels reciprocal for our investment in each other on a session-by-session basis.
